September to Remember keeps rolling along. This time we got an injection of good old fashioned love from Z's other set of great grandparents. The Paulis family (Shannon's grandparents) came to visit us! They arrived on Monday and just left today. It was a nice time here in Asheville with them. Z got to take them to downtown Hendersonville and Asheville and even to a professional photo shoot. Grammy Lanie was here for the festivities as well so it was a packed house.
It's been nice to have Z get to know her extended family. And all the while, Z has been growing and changing. Her personality is really starting to come out. She is a very opinionated little lady (wonder where she gets that from) who knows what she wants and doesn't want. She is not afraid to pipe up and let us know when she is not happy about something. She is also usually playful and interested in everything around her. She grabs at everything. She is also a people person and is more at ease out and about than at home. Sleep is still an issue and while she is great at getting to bed at night, she is still fighting those naps. But that's really the only issue we have with her right now. She is always so full of smiles and love. Unfortunately, I get to see less of her during the week because she is going to bed earlier since she is not napping. Hopefully we will get her sleeping a little later when naps are resolved.
Right now mobility is increasing. Not much of a crawler though she is moving more when she is on her belly. She just showed us how she can hold herself up against a piece of furniture so maybe walking will be here sooner than later. No teeth but that's ok as well.
