Ok, so much has happened in the past few weeks since the new year.
First, let's establish setting. It has been FREEZING here lately. Temps in the teens and when you factor in the wind chill, we have been in the negatives! It's also snowed more since we arrived. I've missed school for two days had had delays as well.
So I've been at home a lot more than we expected. That means more Z time. It also means less trips outside with her and no strolling around so we've been cooped up in the house for a long time.
Z has been growing a lot these last few weeks as well. She is cutting three teeth right now, all on the top row. She should have a fourth soon. Z has been chunking up as well. It's like picking up a 25 pound sack of rice. She continues to be as inquisitive as ever. Z is also increasing her movement. The days of setting her in front of her toys to get some things done around the house are almost gone. Z is either scooching on her rear end, pushing her little walking cart toy or asking Mama and I to hold her hands so that she may cruise around the place. We've had a few of those moments where Shan and I are doing something and are amazed a few minutes later when our child is no where to be found. We are trying to be more consistent with swimming. Saturdays seem like a good time for that adventure.
And can this girl talk! Her speaking really seems like a long seres of sounds that are almost like baby sentences. We can't wait for this babbling to evolve into words and actual communication.
Finally, the good thing about this frigid month is that there is tons of football to keep us interested. We've also had lots of friends come and visit and spend time with us so we are not utterly bored. Thanks again good people of Asheville, we love you!
