The boys arrived safely into town yesterday. Zahra greeted her Uncle and Grandfather with a nice smile. We spent the afternoon having lunch at Marco's Pizza and then taking a nice stroll through West Asheville. The rest of the day was spent in the house, relaxing and taking it easy. I had to go into work so the rest of the crew just hung out. Today we expect to do some more galavanting around town, maybe hit some shops and do some groceries. Then we'll veg out as rain approaches. Fortunately, there is a full slate of football games the next two days to carry us through the rain.
Pictures and updates will continue, for now, I'll post some pictures that were taken over a week ago with Z and her best friend, Orion. Orion is a cute little guy who belongs to Sara and Daniel, friends who were part of the birth group at New Dawn. Sara nad Shannon get along famously so it's no coincidence that the kids are best buds too. Z just lights up when they have their play dates. It's nice that she can have some friends her age to interact with already. Even though we shun the day care, we still have lots of play dates and peer group interactions for Z.
