Well, we've made it through a whole week with Z at home. Our friends helped out enormously during this transition phase as we adjusted to home life with a baby. Now it's time for the family to pitch in. Yesterday, Shannon's mom elaine arrived for the first shift. This begins a streak of family visitation that will run through January 2nd. Visits from both sets of grandparents will be greatly appreciated. I will post some pics of their interactions in the days to come.
In the meantime, Zahra has been an angel. She is sleeping well through most of the night, is feeding like a champ and is generally happy and alert. Mom and Dad are proud!
