Webcasting Rules

This was a post I just could never get in on Thursday because, well because we have a baby and it's hard!

Webcasting technology is amazing.  It's hard to believe that something we watched on Star Trek as kids is as easy as making a phone call.  

Since our families are so far away, webcasting has allowed us to keep in touch in a way unimaginable in the past.  Z's grandparents can watch her continue to grow and stay in touch with her at the same time.  I like that Z is able to hear their voices and eventually see and recognize their faces as well.  

We have used the webcam a few times and its value has been priceless.  My grandparents (who will probably never make it up here) have been able to see Z.  My grandmother in particular was so taken a back with the images on her side of the world that she was hysterical with laughter and excitement.  She was amazed that we could even communicate in this manner.
